I would like to refinance my mortgage, however I am confused as to whether or not I need to contact my original lender or if I can find a new one by jessedkd from San Diego, California. Jun 4th 2010
In 99% of the cases, you will be able to refinance with whomever you like. Simply request a few quotes from selected brokers or banks and compare. There are only very few circumstances that would require you to stay with you original lender and they are rare. You can start receiving quotes today. I see you are in San Diego, click on my profile for information on how to get a quote. Gregorio Denny -- WeFixRates.Com --
Yes you can refinance with whoever you wish. The important thing is to refinance into a program that would most benefit you. Do you currently have an FHA loan? Do you have a fannie mae loan? If you fit either of the two scenarios, you can not only qualify for a very low fixed rate but can be approved with minimal documentation. Please shoot me an email to discuss. Hope this helps.
You should be able to refinance through whomever you like just like GVDenny stated below. If you need additional information or would like to receive a rate quote please do not hesitate to contact me. You can click on my profile for more information.
Jesse,You can shop around for rate and terms and refinance with any lender that has the best program that fit your needs.Adriana Erni
No, unless you are applying as a "hardship" loan modification. .... Happy funding, Rudi
