No sir....you do not. You could go Freddie Mac. Going Fannie or Freddie would generally get you the best rate. Is there a reason you do not want a Fannie Mae backed loan? I might be able to assist. Please email me at joel@mortgageswj.com or call me at 214-295-2928 if you would like to discuss options. Thanks - Joel Dyke

You can choose any loan product, but conventional using either Fannie Mae or Freddie Mac would have the lowest rates and fees.. I'm a Broker here in Scottsdale AZ and I only lend in Arizona. If you or someone you know is looking for financing options, feel free to contact me or pass along my information. William J. You can use any loan you desire, and qualify for. Generally speaking, most clean files, good credit, and a low loan-to-value (like yours) will always get your best deal by getting a standard Fannie Mae or Freddie Mac backed conventional loan.
