There are lenders out there that lend on MFH's however, very few.. The home must be architecturally attached and on a permanent foundation to be "Real Property". Understand that lenders who lend on MFH's will often have higher credit score requirements, and could also require a higher down payment.. Of all the different property types, MFH's are the first to go down in value when the market is declining, and they are the last to improve in value when everything is going up.. for this reason, lenders who lend on these property types will usually charge higher rates and fees, and require more down payment since their exposure to risk is greater. .. I'm a Broker here in Scottsdale AZ and I only lend in Arizona. If you or someone you know is looking for financing options, feel free to contact me or pass along my information. William J. Yes. FHA loans are available for double-wides, 1976 and newer, on land.
