Hi, I have been in the mortgage business for 18 years and have hassled with "credit repair" companies more than I care to admit. I have narrowed it down to this. I will get you a 640 credit score or it's free. No charge. Call me when you have a few minutes for a consultation. I won't waste your time. Thanks, John 253 200 9000.

Credit repair company bashing aside, improving your credit score to any given number is just the first step. Although someone may have implied that all you need is a minimum credit score, you will still need to credit qualify. If you don't understand what that means you simply need to work with a qualified mortgage professional who can explain it to you. More importantly, you need to work with someone who can provide the proper strategy to become credit qualified not just score qualified. Happy Good Friday!

James you say put credit repair bashing aside, but what about the money I have sent on two agancy that did nothing for me or improve my credit...... agent give send us to people to help and all it does is hurt and pay a lot of money. I had a divorce and had to pay off a lot of bills and still no relief.. then you tell me (you need to work with someone who can provide the proper strategy to become credit qualified not just score qualified.) so you are telling me that all mortgage professional are not same, to help the person get a mortgage.

One of the biggest fraud and consumer complaints are with credit repair companies.. Best advice is to search the internet and whoever you find, go to Better Business Bureau and see what their rating is.. You will eventually find a reputable company.. WilliamAcres.com

First and foremost, you should not be using a credit repair company. In general, they collect your money and then simply try to dispute everything away. That won't work long term. The only ones that can properly guide you into what steps you need to take are licensed Mortgage Bankers/Brokers. Employees of the big banks and National mortgage factories are not interested in taking the time to educate you as to the steps you must take. As James alluded to, the score is the first step. What really matters is WHY your score is where it is. You need to find a local Licensed Mortgage Banker/Broker that is willing to work with you and give you guidance. Then you must follow their guidance and you will see the quality of your credit report improve to the point that you are able to qualify for a loan. In return, you should commit to working with this individual when you obtain financing. I don't lend in Washington State or I would assist you. ~ Bert Carpenter, The LoansA2z team of NOVA Home Loans ~ NMLS 40586 ~ www.LoansA2z.com
