If you're paid by W2's but cannot find them, then it's not a problem. we can order duplicates from the IRS via the 4506-T. If you don't have w2's because your paid by 1099 or self employed, then you would need 2 years filed federal tax returns to support your income to qualify for a mortgage. contact your local broker from this panel and they can go over the various options that are available these days as 12 month bank statement programs etc...
If you are sefl employed, paid on commissions or otherwise would not ne issued a W-02, then sure. If you are issued W-2's you will need them. If you don't have them you can request a copy from the IRS or ask your employer to re-issue one. Your lender may be able to help as well.
If you don't have W-2's because you are self-employed then we will need your last two tax returns to determine your qualifying income.
