Based on the limited information provided, I would assume that your mobile home still has a title to it? Has it been through the title elimination process?Your loan would have to have been purchased by Fannie Mae or Freddie Mac on or before 5/31/2009 to be eligible for HARP. There is a look up tool for both, you can google "Does Fannie Mae Own My Loan, or Does Freddie Mac Own My Loan"and see if you loan qualifies.

No.. HARP refi's are only for loans that currently have a Fannie Mae or Freddie Mac loan against them now.. and the loan must have been originated prior to June 2009. Besides, you can only get a "Mortgage" on "Real Property".. What you have is not considered real property.. In order to obtain a mortgage, the MFH must be architecturally attached to the land, and an "Affidavit of affixture" must be filed with your county. Basically, this means that the wheels are removed, and the MFH is placed on a permanent foundation.. Only then can you get a mortgage.. I'm a Broker here in Scottsdale AZ and I only lend in Arizona. If you or someone you know is looking for financing options, feel free to contact me or pass along my information. William J.
