Can someone restructure my VA loan?
Hi, I’d like to ask if someone can restructure my VA loan without my signature? My ex wife doesn’t want to refinance to get me out of the mortgage. The home hasn’t been my residence the past 8 years since the divorce. Can the courts enforce something to get my wife to sign off on the refinance? by colsmith858 from Altamonte Springs, Florida. No, your loan cannot be restructured to remove you without your signature. If the courts awarded the home to your ex, the divorce decree should have a requirement that she take steps to get the home out of your name in a certain amount of time.
