If she is an owner of the property she will need to sign some of the closing documents (usually the mortgage itself and Settlement Statement) but would not be obligated on the loan. All owners have to agree to a mortgage being placed against the property. I'd love to help when you're ready and have the details worked out.

No. Your wife needs to sign the truth-in lending, mortgage and HUD statement even if she is not on the new loan or title. You can contact me when you are ready to refinance or if you have any further questions. Carlos Eliseo 561-252-1552.
