You likely do not need HARP for any loan these days. I would be happy to help but HARP is not needed. Many lenders who cold call and advertise on the internet are still "harping' on HARP but it is only needed if the property has little or no equity on owner occupied loans.

The short answer is yes.. you can refinance a rental with HARP.. But understand that HARP was intended to help borrowers who were underwater on their home but would allow them to refinance without the necessity of an appraisal.. therefore, ignoring the loan to value requirements.. Since most properties have gone way up in value, the need for HARP has gone away.. in fact, it's due to expire at the end of this year.. If you would like, I would be happy to put together a few scenarios for your consideration.. both HARP and conventional refinance. no hassles, no pressure,, Just drop me a line so I can gather the necessary info to put together an accurate quote for you.. I'm a preferred Lender with California and Arizona being my primary markets. If you or someone you know is looking for financing options, feel free to contact me or pass along my information. 480-287-5714 WilliamAcres.com NMLS# 226347 / RPM Mortgage NMLS 1541014 / AZMB0121893

Yes you can... With that said, I haven't done a HARP loan in ages, mostly because most people don't need them anymore. Contact a mortgage broker in your area, give them a full application, and they can then zero in on what program will work best for you... Including HARP.
