Can I qualify for a Home Equity Loan with bad credit?

That's going to be tough.. The 2nd note holder has a much greater risk than the first mortgage holder.. for that reason, it's going to be tough to get...I'm a Broker here in Scottsdale AZ and I only lend in Arizona. Typically you will need at least a 680 score for a home equity loan.

Hello, as the others mentioned you wouldn't like your interest rate.Where did you get your credit scores from? Online sites like Credit Karma & Credit Sesame, don't accurately reflect your credit scores. In other words your scores most probably will differ on an actual mortgage credit report.
