I'm a 657 with an income of about $320,000. DTI is about 15%. Loan amount would be for roughly 400k with 40k down, ideally. Is this feasible? by Adamryansmith83949 from , Illinois. Jan 1st 2014
One if the fine forum members should be able to help you. we do not lend in Illinois.
It's possible, but understand that construction loans are a non-conforming loan product.. in other words, there is no industry standard set of guidelines to qualify borrowers.. So the lenders who do construction loans can have their own set of rules and guidelines, and they will be different from one lender to the next.. my guess is that although your score is low, you do have sufficient income and a low debt to income ratio, so there might be a bank out there willing to do it.. You'll probably need more than 10% down, so be prepared for that.. to search for a lender, just click on the "community" tab above, and select "Find a Lender".. try to use someone local, as it will make your life much more easier.. I'm a Broker here in Scottsdale AZ and I only lend in Arizona. If you or someone you know is looking for financing options, feel free to contact me or pass along my information. William J.
