You sure can. It's called a "non-occupying co-borrower".

More info needed, but in general.. Yes.. but lending products vary as to who is allow to co-sign for you. FHA requires the co signer be a relative or domestic partner.. Conventional guidelines are a little more lenient. VA does allow for co signers, but because of logistics of underwriting and loan delivery, it's near impossible to accomplish.. USDA also allows for cosigners, but they must live in the home with you.. so it wouldn't work for your scenario.. I'm a Broker here in Scottsdale AZ and I only lend in Arizona.
