No. To get financing on anything, you need to have ownership of the collateral (mobile home). I don't believe there is any time limit requirement to actually have your name listed as an owner on title, but you would need to check with whoever you may be seeking financing from for more details. If you are the true owner, but have not as yet had the title transferred to your name, such as in probate, we can help you, and transfer the title properly at or before closing. The mobile home must be on its own land, not in a park rental space.
You cannot borrow against something you don't own.. so the answer should be obvious, but also understand that mortgage lenders only lend on "Real Property". If you have a mobile home, and it's not been architecturally attached to the land, then it's not "real property", and would not be eligible for mortgage finance.
