Loan modifications are sometimes confused with refinancing.. If you are looking to refinance, then yes.. There are many ways to refinance and the terms are dictated by your current loan product, equity position, and credit & Income qualifications.. if you're looking to modify your loan, then you need to search for loan modification companies in your area... be careful and do your due diligence.. there are a lot of scams out there.... I'm a Broker here in Scottsdale AZ and I only lend in Arizona. If you or someone you know is looking for financing options, feel free to contact me or pass along my information. 480-287-5714 WilliamAcres.com

Only your current servicer (who you make payments to) can modify your existing loan. On the other hand, any lender can help you refinance your loan.

If you are looking to modify your current loan, start with your current lender for your options. Good Luck!
