Can I consolidate 2 mortgages - 1 on home and 1 on surrounding land?

I have 1 mortgage on our mobile home and 5 acres and then we were given 20 acres of surrounding land and it has a mortgage on it as well. So, we are paying 2 mortgages, 1 on the home and 1 on the land. Is there a way to put these two mortgages into 1 with it being a mobile home? by ASCGam_808_311 from Rome, Georgia. If the mobile home is architecturally attached to the property (ground set) and has a certificate, then it's possible to refinance into one loan, however you would first have to survey the property and combine the two lots as one. There could be some negatives associated with this type of lot consolidation, so do your due diligence. Also, it might be hard to find a lender willing to do a mobile home on land, so there another hurdle.. This all being said, I'm not sure what the benefit would be to combine the two... it's possible your property taxes could be higher as well as your home owners insurance.. so unless there is some great difference in the interest rate to what you feel you could get otherwise, you might want to leave things as they are...
