Unless you have a first position HELOC, then no.. once your loan is funded, it's locked in.. if you want to borrow more, then you could do one of 2 things.. apply for a 2nd mortgage or HELOC, or you can do a cash out refinance.. either way, you will need to fully qualify, have the home re appraised, and provide all supporting documentation.. Also, if you recently purchased, then some lending guidelines on certain loan products require you wait up to 6 months.. I would suggest contacting your LOCAL mortgage broker as they can advise a HELOC option, depending on property's equity.
