One debt, car loans, credit cards, and mortgages... they all have a due by date. They almost all give a small grace period, before charging you a "late fee". But, generally speaking, a few days late, and even paying a late fee isn't an issue. it is when you are more than 30-days late that that particular item will then show up on your credit report as a late payment. www.JoeMetzler.com

Most mortgage loans have a 15 day grace period before a late fee is assessed, however regardless of a late fee or not, a payment has to be 30 days late or more to show on your credit report.. I'm a Broker here in Scottsdale AZ and I only lend in Arizona. If you or someone you know is looking for financing options, feel free to contact me or pass along my information. 480-287-5714 WilliamAcres.com

On the original due date of a mortgage payment? Yes, you should be fine. On most standard loans, lenders don't charge late fees until mortgages are 15 days late and they don't report them as late tot he credit bureaus until they are 30 days late.
