The VA construction loan is one of the most difficult loan's to find anywhere... Understand that VA does not lend money.. they only insure loans against default.. the lenders will oftentimes add additional guidelines to what VA calls for. so even though VA will insure a construction to perm loan, over 99% of lenders out there will not.. Just keep this in mind when someone says' "Call me, I can Help".. they are probably going to try and talk you into a construction loan.. and then once the construction is done, convert it to a VA loan..
