Are USDA loans exclusively 640 minimum credit scores or is a 620 middle acceptable?

Depending on the lender they might not have a minimum credit score. I do not lend in Florida but can refer you to someone who does if you would like. Otherwise you should be able to find someone locally that would be able to help you.Good Luck...

You may be able to find a local lender who does not have a minimum Credit score requirement.

The minimum credit score is going to be a lender specific over lay. Most will be at 640 but I know some that can do down to 620. The issues may be the items that have brought your scores to the 620 level.

Although your state USDA Rural Development Center may have a minimum FICO score requirement, there can be made exceptions so long as other attributes of your loan meet the guidelines. Score waivers are generally only given if the debt-to-income ratio meets USDA target of 29% / 41%. Good luck.
