If I am understanding correctly, you are trying to remove a mobile home from a property and build a new home? Construction loans may work for this scenario. If you own the land, it may be enough to obtain a construction loan. During the construction process, you would make payments and then you would either convert it to a permanent loan of refinance once you received the certificate of occupancy. The FHA rehab mortgage (203k is the official designation) described by another lender here would probably not work if you are not making improvements to an existing structure. If I have misunderstood your question, please feel free to provide more details and I'll help as much as I can.

Yes, but lenders will not use an appraisal that is "subject to" certain conditions being met.. they will require that all conditions be addressed and the appraisal is re evaluated and is an "As Is" appraisal. I'm a Broker here in Scottsdale AZ and I only lend in Arizona. If you or someone you know is looking for financing options, feel free to contact me or pass along my information. William J. Yes there are ways to have the house appraised subject to the improvements being done. This is common when obtaining certain loan types such as an FHA rehab mortgage. However, their may be some restriction based on the property type.
