It is best to speak to your lender and find out if they have such a program for your mortgage.

Your best bet, depending on how far behind you are is to speak with your current servicer. They have a vested interest in you getting caught up. They should have options to help you out. Who is your mortgage servicer now? Do you have one mortgage or two? Robert HansonGladewater National Bank301-651-7822Rhanson@gladewaternational.com

If you are behind and you have no Interest in keeping home. Request short sale option.

If you are more than 60-days late on the current loan, no new lender is going to give you a loan. Talk with your current lender to see what, if any, options they will offer you to get back on track. They are the only ones who could help.

As everyone is suggesting, the best place to start is your current lender. They may be able to offer you a couple of solutions like a modification or forbearance. Best wishes, Sean
