For the most part all properties are sold as is; now once the appraiser goes out to the house, that can be a different story. With conventional financing, the appraiser will do an inspection and his job is to notate any property deficiencies that have to deal with safety or health concerns.. Broken windows, exposed wires, mold, etc.. Also, there's an extensive list about property attributes such as land/acreage size, buildings, square footage, building codes, additions..
