I received a quote from my current lender, but I am looking for other HARP 2.0 lenders in Florida to refinance with where the LTV doesn't matter. THanks by honan4_240_508 from Apopka, Florida. Mar 5th 2012
Under HARP2 the LTV will matter to the point you're attempting to change servicers. In that case you're currently limited to 125% max LTV and it must be a Freddie Mac product. Progam guidelines for Fannie Mae and revised Freddie Mac are expected as early as next week. Yes, the wholesale guidelines will be released around the 17th of March. I would strongly recommend that you get a quote from a mortgage brokerage business before you move forward with your current lender.
As stated here, the HARP 2.0 guidelines are due at end of next week. You will definitely want to take a look at what a Mortgage Banker/Broker can do for you. After being abused by the big banks, the last thing you want to do is to just accept their offer. There are numerous ways to find a well qualified Mortgage Banker/Broker to work with. In addition to Lender411, you can do a Google, Yahoo, Ask search to find one. Official launch of HARP 2 is Coming 03/15/2012 actually Freddie is sched for 03/12/2012 and Fannie 03/19/2012. Right now lenders are using a Hybrid version of the old Harp and new Harp 2. I would check back with me next Monday and we can shop around over a dozen of Wholesale lenders and banks and get the best rate and term out there! If you have a Fannie loan then it's the following Monday. If you don't know call me and I will look it up. But, rest assured I will get you the best deal out there, that is what I famous for over the last 12 years as a Mortgage Specialist. Ralph Guertin, 954-274-7725 or Ralph@absolutelowrates.com
There are plenty of lenders who will be more than happy to give you a quote on a HARP 2.0 refinance... Contact a LOCAL mortgage broker, not a bank, and have them do up a quote for you... WilliamAcres.com
