Are there any HARP 2.0 lenders who will work with you after filing a chapter 7 bankruptcy?

Yes and No.. Guidelines state 2 years, however the automated underwriting system is very sensitive.. So you would have to be very sold.. high scores, low Debt to income, low Loan to Value, and good reserves for the system to approve you... William said it best. Once your two years has passed (from the date of discharge), and assuming you have not missed a payment on the mortgage in the last 12 months, you could qualify. You will have to make sure your credit is cleaned up. Without at least a 660 score following the BK, the AUS will probably not approve you. Absolutely there are lenders out there who will help your refinance on the HARP 2.0 after bankruptcy. The key however is to make sure enough time has elapsed since the bankruptcy was discharged. As also mentioned here, guidelines state a 2 year waiting period however each lender has their separate overlays, so make sure to check with them.

If it is discharged after 2 years and if you can get a Fannie Mae or Freddie Mac approval.
