Appraising company had to come back out to re-inspect. Is this normal, or are they just trying to get more $ out of me?

When an appraiser has to return to the property for a 1004D (re-inspect), it is a condition of the original appraisal, which would have had some work repairs that were "subject to" completion. This is quite normal. Please review the appraisal and you will most likely see that the appraisal is subject to some sort of work conditions.

If there were needed repairs that was noted on the original appraiser, then the appraisal has to come back and re-inspect once the repairs have been made.
