Contact a LOCAL mortgage broker, not the banks or internet 50 states lender.. the Broker has access to numerous lenders and can find the right one for your particular scenario.. I just got a borrower approved for HARP 2.0, husband was 780, wife was 608.. Approved / eligible.. WilliamAcres.com

We will only look at the primary wage earner. Are you the primary wage earner with the 820? If not our Min. score is 620. I am pretty good at getting your score up 10-20 points if not. We can help you in FL. Give me a call and I'll see what I can do. 888-320-7888 - www.MortgageWholesale.net - Ken

Contact a local Mortgage Banker /Broker. DON'T use one of the big banks, DON'T use one of the big national Mortgage factories, and DON'T use the people you are currently making payments to. One of the best benefits is that your local Mortgage Banker/Broker has access to all the lending sources, allowing for an easier fit into the lender or program that makes the most sense. Whoever you choose, make sure you check them out at the National Mortgage Licensing System at www.NMLSConsumerAccess.org ~ Bert Carpenter, The LoansA2z team of NOVA Home Loans ~ NMLS 40586 ~ www.LoansA2z.com

I agree with the comments about finding a local mortgage broker and letting them do the work. You'll likely want to find out if your loan is currently held by Fannie Mae or Freddie Mac, and then ask if the broker knows of a lender that handles your particular HARP 2 needs with little or no "overlays." The lender "overlays" will be the killer for getting a loan like yours done. Best of luck to you!

Bank of England could help with your scenario......A good broker or banker will be able to find someone to help. The Harp programs consists of more then just credit and LTV....as some mentioned previously certain lenders have "overlays" on this program that will not allow them to take full advantage of it. We have an office in Florida, so if you have any questions feel free to email me and I will guide you in the right direction!
