Yes.. you can use any one you wish, but I suggest you use someone local and if you have an agent, and they have a company they can refer you to, then that would be ideal.. so long as it's not the big box bank on the corner, you should be ok. Yes you can use any lender. I would recommend using someone who is familiar with HUD deals as they are a little different than a regular by owner sale. I'd say talk to a few lenders ask a few questions regarding HUD properties and pick the one you feel is best to assist you.
As you can see, the answer is yes. Interview the lenders to make sure they are a good fit for you and they will keep to the task at hand. Get references.Hud loans can be a difficult and long process.
