There are jumbo lender's out there who will lend to borrowers with your credit score, but there's so much more info needed that it's impossible to say if you can actually get a loan.. How much do you have to put down? 10%, not gonna happen.. 30%, you might have a shot.. 50% looking good... The real question is why is your score so low? BK, Foreclosure, Short sale, unpaid taxes, unpaid student loans.. You could have a 750 credit score but if you have one of these deficiencies, you still might be denied.. The best advice I can give you is to contact a LOCAL mortgage broker and apply with them. Once they see your complete loan profile, only then will they be able to direct you to the right loan product for your specific scenario. By applying with your LOCAL Broker, you have an advantage because he's familiar with local customs and works with numerous lenders, seeking out the best loan terms for your particular scenario. Because he has lower overhead, he can offer you lower rates and lower fees than most of the larger lenders.. I'm a Broker here in Scottsdale AZ and I only lend in Arizona. If you or someone you know is looking for financing options, feel free to contact me or pass along my information. William J.
