Rocky with Lender411 WAS NOT TELLING THE TRUTH on mortgagecrooks.com

ROCKY WAS NOT TELLING THE TRUTH with his post on the mortgage crooks First - A community-based web portal should not connect borrowers to criminals that are breaking the LAW. Second - The wealth of information thru our content rocky is offering was found to be misleading and or completely wrong. This wealth of information that Rocky is offering could help cause Senior Citizens to lose their homes. God, we do not need seniors living on the street because of Ledner411.com wealth of information Third - Does their enhance the online mortgage shopping experience mean (1) Their BREAKING law with their illegal service for a profit; (2) Connecting borrowers with criminals; (3) Giving out bad information that could cause a foreclosure; (4) Making a profit selling marketing to criminals and screwing the borrowers; (5) Lender411.com did not willfully stop their illegal service. The STATE ordered them to closed down. Lender411.com did not want the state to go after them for his and or their illegal service. In Rockys response he is not being Transparency or Ethical. Based on Rockys reply borrowers and real lenders do not need this kind of bad portal. It sound like using Ledner411.com may cause a lot of Problems, Borrowers being connected to a criminal, Loss, and Heart aches. by jasonm_671_556 from , . May 14th 2013 Reply

Actually, If you read the complaint, The state of Massachusetts found that one or more lenders that told Lender411 they are licensed in MA actually weren't and Lender411 was ordered to fix the issue. What you fail to understand is that even if a consumer was referred to one of these lenders, the lender would not be able to collect any funds nor grant a loan to a MA borrower. I personally receive many requests through Lender411. I am only able to help those in the states I am licensed in. If someone from another state contacts me and I am not licensed in that state, that does not make me a criminal. Nowhere in the complaint does it indicate any MA consumers actually applied for a loan with an originator that was not properly licensed in MA. I find it interesting that you base your "Rocky broke the law" because the Cease and Desist Order indicated that as of the day the order was issued, the site had not been changed. The Cease and Desist order is what is issued to cause the changes to be made. Go read the complaint and stop your whining. Forums like this help people become more informed and informed consumers make better choices.

I will have to agree with the others. A listing service for Lending professionals does not complete our fingerprints and background checks. We are each responsible for our own form of advertising and marketing and the consequences in today's market that do not meet compliance Regs are not treaded on lightly. All consumer's are urged to view full access to the NMLS site and confirm Broker/Originator Licensing status, which is why we are listing our Identifier numbers. I myself have received very reputable referrals from the site which closed as successful files. As with any client, I complete full disclosure of my state & national licensing credentials and do not rely on Lender411. I think at some point in this market, we really need to have individuals start taking responsibility for their individual actions and stop blaming others. If a company chooses to break the law and advertise outside of compliance, the source needs to accept the consequences. Consumers should also be encouraged to complete their own due diligence on any service provider.

Be aware that there may be more than one lender on this forum with the name Rocky. You should be more specific otherwise all could be tainted by your comments.

Rocky is a good guy and this is a good portal. You are a moron for even posting this. This site isn't to regulate and ensure everyone is licensed, it's a directory. That's like saying Yellow pages can't advertise a financial person that isn't licensed. That isn't his job to enforce everyone, that is the Government's. In no way shape or form is he trying to connect criminals to seniors or any potential borrower for that matter. If I were Rocky I would begin to look at filing a defamation suit against you as this is completely untrue. I assure you I have a law degree and he has a case. I doubt he will because Rocky is a good guy and is trying to help the mortgage and finance community. As for Massachusetts, they hand those letters out like candy stating to Cease and Desist any lending activity just in case someone is. Lender411 is not breaking the rules of any lending division. It's a shame that individuals like you try to harm one's company and someone that is trying to do good for our lending community when you have absolutely no merit, intelligence or understanding of the financial world.

When you are finished ranting your blithering nonsense, please move on and attack all the other websites that provide a portal for borrowers to connect with professionals or research their mortgage options. It's a Directory, simple as that. Bet you voted for Barney Fwank, too.

This is simply an informational site, with links to lenders. That is like going after the Yellow Pages because you found and hired a plumber who did a bad job in the phone book. Really??? Get a clue. Yet people like this get regulators to make asinine changes that negatively effect all of us in a pathetic attempt to protect one.
