Depending on how low your score is you probably want to find a broker to help place your loan. I work with lenders that have no additional credit score requirements on FHA and VA.

More info is needed to answer your question.. but in general, if you are delinquent by 1 month or so, then that might be explained and you would be fine, but if you are delinquent for 60 or more days on any debt, most loan programs will not even consider you until it's current... It's going to be very difficult to get financing if your student loans are in default.. for 2 reasons.. first,, your delinquent student loans are dragging down your score.. so it's possible your score might be too low to qualify right now.. 2nd, all government loans require the lender to run you through an automated system checking for outstanding government debt.. if you are in default on student loans, you are automatically denied.. so, knowing all this,,, you should get your student loans current, then look at getting financing .. I'm a preferred Lender with Arizona and California being my primary markets. If you or someone you know is looking for financing options, feel free to contact me or pass along my information. 480-287-5714 WilliamAcres.com NMLS# 226347 / RPM Mortgage NMLS 1541014 / AZMB0121893
