You do not have to be on the refinance, if your wife can qualify on her own. I am happy to assist you, and I am a LOCAL Mortgage broker in Colorado. Call Kay 720-670-0124Thank you

Unless your income is needed to get the loan approved, then you do not have to be on the transaction. We do many transactions where one spouse has significantly stronger credit than the other and a choice is made to exclude the spouse with the lower scores to provide better financing options. Reach out and let me see if we can help. ~ Bert Carpenter, The LoansA2z Team of NEXA Mortgage ~ NMLS 40586 ~ At NEXA, we've got you covered. It is common to leave one spouse off the loan application, and typically this is done if the one has poor credit. So NO, you do NOT need to be included on the loan, assuming she income qualifies by herself. I lend in WI, MN, IA, ND, SD. Find me at WI-MortgageBroker.com - NMLS 274132
