Google the company plus the words fraud, scam, or reputation. It is something I suggest to everyone. Be it this company or not. You may be surprised at what you see. This one you may be surprised. Slick TV commercials making them sound like they offer something that other lenders don't, when they really do, to me is indicative of other possible indiscretions.
I am a local residential mortgage banker licensed in KS and MO. If you need assistance in purchasing or refinancing a home, you can contact me at 816-739-6279.
They are a legitimate company, but they are a nationwide lender and they do not have local offices.. meaning, everything is done online or by phone.. this can cause major delay's since they are more than likely not familiar with local customs and intricacies of dealing with loans locally.. For this reason, I always suggest you contact a LOCAL mortgage broker and apply with them. By applying with your LOCAL Broker, you have an advantage because he's familiar with local customs and works with many lenders with each one offering a different type of lending program. This is unlike the local bank which typically only has a few lending programs. The more lenders, the more lending options, and the more likely your scenario will be accepted.. Plus, the broker is experienced in seeking out the best loan terms for your particular scenario, and he has lower overhead which typically results in lower rates and fees than most of the larger lenders.. I'm a Broker here in Scottsdale AZ and I only lend in Arizona. If you or someone you know is looking for financing options, feel free to contact me or pass along my information. William J. I don't personally know anyone who has done any work with them and nor have I, so I can't really say. However, the level of service, communication and knowledge will be the issue. You will be in far better hands dealing with a local loan officer whom you can actually sit down with. I suggest speaking with a few local loan officers until you find someone you feel is knowledgeable, experienced and is in good communication with you. Once you find that person, do a loan application and start the pre-approval process. Best wishes, Sean
Whenever you can work with a local loan officer or someone that is referred to you. When it comes to giving someone your confidential information, I would think you would want to work with someone you know or at least someone that has dealt with that loan officer. Independent Mortgage Brokers many times may have more experience than a loan officer that may work for a large net work company like NewDayUSA or even others. So ask how long they have been licensed as loan originator or how long they have been in the business.
