Type your mortgage or real estate question hereIs Mortgage Investors Corporation a VA lender by wolvin_957_540 from Sanford, North Carolina. Mar 27th 2012
It appears that they are one of those nationwide mortgage companies. They pitch themselves as being a VA lender, so I would assume they are. However, I always recommend borrowers use a local Mortgage Banker/Broker, rather than one of the big banks or Nationwide Mortgage Mills. Unlike a bank employee, who is most likely just an order taker, a Mortgage Broker/Banker is Trained, Tested and Licensed in all aspects of Mortgage Origination. He/She will have access to loan products of many lenders, not just those of one bank, and can properly guide you. But more importantly, He/She is trained to take a look at the various different options available to you and guide you into the one that makes the best sense for your situation. Well said Bert. Also decide if you want a 3 year adjustable rate or a fixed rate as I believe all they offer are ARMs.
They are an internet 50 states lender... Contact a LOCAL mortgage broker, not a bank, and apply with them... they have access to numerous lenders and can find the right loan for your particular scenario...WillilamAcres.com
I would shop around with a local mortgage broker who has some experience with VA loans.
I would bet they contacted you instead of the other way around. Definitely worth checking with other lenders, especially those that you call directly or who people you know and trust refer you to. We are licensed in all 50 states but 99% of my business is in my area. I just closed a VA lon yesterday and would welcome the opportunity to tell you my options, and I will tell you to take their offer if I can't meet or beat it. pdumouchel@primelending.com - or you are welcome to check out my web-site pdumouchel.primelending.com
