I am supposed to close in 2 weeks. is it too late to switch products? I want to go from an adjustable rate to a 30 year fixed rate.

You should be able to switch with your current company and have no problems still closing on time. It depends on the Mortgage Product you are approved on though.

Not a problem.. you can change it anytime before you close.. The underwriter will need to approve the change, but typically it's not a problem.. Just contact your loan officer and tell him you want to make the change.. I'm a Broker here in Scottsdale AZ and I only lend in Arizona. Yes, if you change lenders you have to start the loan process again. Can you get the seller to extend the closing date?
