I am looking to get a mortgage loan with one year w2 in 2014. Is that possible?

Jason, This is certainly possible and can be accomplished in a few different ways. Firstly, the automated loan approval may only ask for 1 year's W2. If that is the case and your lender doesn't have their own stricter guidelines, you'll be fine. Also, if you have a good reason for only having one year of W2s (full time student, health reasons, laid off, etc.), you may be fine as well.
