Do you have to have a credit score above 600?

My score is 567 and I need to get a loan to pay off some bills as soon as possible. I can't find any help. Can you recommend someone to help me? Thanks for your time. Nancy Johnson by Nancy Johnson from Seminole, Oklahoma. Oct 27th 2015 Reply

Where did you get your credit score from? If you have not already, I would suggest you have a local loan officer review your credit, do a What-If Scenario and see if there is any way to improve your credit score. However, if your score is truly at 567, there may be other issues that would have to be looked at. Lenders are not specifically credit score driven as they look at the entire credit picture.

I would love to see if I could help you. I do have a loan that will go down to a 560, and we can see if it's a loan that you might qualify for. Feel free to give me a call. 405.285.1234 ext 116

If you're looking for a personal loan, then with a 567, it's going to be near impossible.. if you're looking for a mortgage, then it's going to be very difficult.. although there are lenders who advertise they will go down to 500 credit scores, their guidelines are so strict that very few that apply actually get approved.. the real question is "Why?".. Why is your score so low? if you have any recent derogatory credit it could be a deal killer.. but without looking at your complete loan profile, it's impossible to say for sure.. You can try to contact a local mortgage broker and let them run your credit.. if they cannot do a loan now, they can at least tell you what steps would be necessary to get approved in the future.. I'm a Broker here in Scottsdale AZ and I only lend in Arizona. If you or someone you know is looking for financing options, feel free to contact me or pass along my information. William J. No. There are loan products with no down payment available as low as 580. With a 567 score you could easily get to a 580. I don't do credit repair for a business but I have multiple ways of helping to increase your score in a matter of days. If you would like more details please feel free to email me and I can explain further. jon.fleege@snmc.com.
