Credit score of roughly 600, looking to refinance Fannie Mae home

Looking to refinance a home valued 140k, mortgage 128k @ 6.625%. I believe i have a score of 600, but I do not know if that is the case. It is a Fannie Mae loan prior to 2009. Currently in a Chapter 13 however that was more than 2 1/2 years. Haven't missed a single mortgage payment. Please reach me as soon as possible at celliot4@comcast.net or (816) 779-3111. by Chad Elliot from Peculiar, Missouri. Dec 6th 2011 Reply

Hi Chad. I just received guidelines for the expanded HARP loans this week and they are calling for a min score of 620 and bankruptcies discharged for at least 3 years. You may qualify for a FHA refi, as they allow CH 13 refis with trustee permission.

Good luck Chad with your refinance quest... Contact a local mortgage broker, not a bank and apply with them.. they work with a vast number of lenders and can match your particular scenario to the right one... williamAcres.com
