Can I get a no closing cost streamline refinance to lower my interest rate?

Absolutely... The best advice I can give you is to contact a LOCAL mortgage broker and apply with them. Do not use the local "Big" bank, or one of those 50 states internet lenders or nationwide lenders...By applying with your LOCAL Broker, you have an advantage because he's familiar with local customs and works with numerous lenders, seeking out the best loan terms for your particular scenario. Because he has lower overhead, he can offer you lower rates and lower fees than most of the larger lenders.. I'm a Broker here in Scottsdale AZ and I only lend in Arizona. Natalia,Sure. Depends on your current loan. If you are FHA. Then you can do the FHA Streamline refinance. If you have a conventional loan and are underwater then you will have to find out if your loan was acquired before June 1st 2009 by Fannie Mae or Freddie Mac. If you have equity then great!When it comes to no cost no fee loan. You can do it 1 of 2 ways. You can wrap all third party fees and prepaids for impounds account (if there is one) on the back of the loan. So essentially you paid nothing out of pocket and you get the lowest interest rate without paying points. Or. You can increase your interest rate to receive a good amount of "Lender Credit" back to cover the costs of the third party fees or even up front MIP (if FHA).Let me know if you need help regarding this process. Hi Natalia - at this time the only no closing cost streamline refinance is only available to those with FHA loans or by the HARP program - but it will need to be done with the current mortgage servicer who currently holds your mortgage. It all depends upon what type of loan your current one is, and a host of other factors. Streamline refis are done for homeowners who already have FHA loans. Is that what you have.
