About 9 years ago my home was foreclosed on and it was insured by the VA. Will I be able to qualify for an FHA loan today?

If you were foreclosed on 9 years ago you may be eligible for a FHA loan as long as you have re-established your credit and meet all the minimum requirements for a FHA loan. Having been foreclosed on for a VA loan will not pre-clude you from getting a FHA loan as long as you have waited the 3 year wait period and have establish your credit.Feel free to call me in the office at 410-412-3319 and we can see if you can qualify for FHA loan in Maryland or you can visit my website at www.MarylandMortgages.tv or www.Delawaremortgageloans.netJohn R. As far as foreclosure seasoning you should be able to qualify for any type of financing you have the means to obtain. You may even qualify for VA financing if you happen to have enough remaining entitlement under your VA benefit.Other than the foreclosure, whether or not you will be able to qualify for mortgage financing will depend on how you have reestablished the credit since the foreclosure, your debt to income ratio along with a list of other items that factor into getting qualified for mortgage financing.

Yes, you will still qualify as long as you credit scores and credit history since the foreclosure meet the minimum requirements.
