30-year fixed, owe 40k, near perfect credit. Currently seeking new employment

My husband was employed for 12 years with 1 company, >1 year off off as they relocated the office and now has joined a new company. If we consider reverse mortgage as we near retirement, will his change of employment disqualify us? Also, my son is 24 and I would like him to inherit the house in the future. Would reverse mortgage mean the house goes to the bank in the end? by darlene_rey.1952484 from Santa Ana, California. Nov 11th 2013 Reply

Good questions. In 2014, there will be a financial assessment added to the application process. It will be used to determine that the senior reverse mortgage borrower has sufficient income to pay the property taxes and fire insurance, which are currently required to be paid each year, plus sufficient income for daily expenses, such as food and utilities. The exact formula has not been released yet.If both of you will be receiving social security, plus one or two pension incomes, you should have no problem with the new income test. The good news is, there is no employment continuity requirement, not even any employment income requirement, at this time. You son will be able to inherit the property at your passing; however, he will have to pay off the current loan balance by refinancing, or by the sale of the property. If he sells the property, he will keep the net proceeds. For specific information, and an estimate of the amount of income currently available to you from a reverse mortgage, please contact me, Dave Metsker, at 503-620-2239

First , it depends on your age... and also, i do have a way to do a cash advance line for the small loan size ,and have it paid off, and as far as your son goes, for the reverse, he would need to be able to qualify.. also, the cash line advance , is basically a no doc type of funding... your can email me at merchantsonthego@outllook.com or phone at 602 330 1598 linda
