Absolutely, it's very easy to get up to $35,000 for renovations and pretty much is the exact same as an FHA loan. We have been doing a lot of these lately. Our lender/underwriting fees are $0 which helps a lot. We have discounts on title working directly with the title underwriter. We keep your closings costs low. Get into touch with me and we can go through the options. p: 888-320-7888 - ken@mortgagesforamerica.org - Ken Burrows - www.MortgagesforAmerica.org

These really are great loans! If you need a repairs/improvements up to 35K, you can do the 203K Streamline version. If you need more, then the Full 203K. There are a few extra forms and steps in either case. Your plans, costs, and contractor need to get approved, etc. Overall, a very good program.

203k loans are great... for the right person buying the right house. You need a good, experienced Loan Officer, and a good experienced Realtor to explain everything, both pro and con. But if the numbers work, heck yes, 203k loans are awesome. In MN or WI, visit www.JoeMetzler.com/fhaloans.htm
