Neil has worked in retail mortgage lending since 1989 after graduating with a degree in business from Towson University. He founded Allymac Mortgage Services in 1997 with a desire to provide his borrowers with choices that would match their individual situations, honest advice and full, clear disclosure. Allymac became part of the Southern Trust family in December of 2009.

Neil has an extensive background and more than 20yrs experience originating a variety of conventional and government insured programs including FHA (traditional as well as 203k renovation loans and HECM reverse mortgage loans), VA, Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac and a wide range of portfolio construction, jumbo and private placements. Over the span of his career, Neil has personally helped thousands of homeowners and homebuyers.

Neil is a past-president of the Maryland Association of Mortgage Brokers and is a current member of its Ethics Oversight Committee. He has served as a consultant to the Maryland Legislature in the formation of continuing education requirements for Mortgage Brokers and has been appointed to represent the industry before the Commissioner of Financial Regulation and serves on the Mortgage Advisory Council to the Conference of State Bank Supervisors in the development of a federally mandated national mortgage licensing system (NMLS).

Neil is proud to be one of only a handful to receive certification by the National Reverse Mortgage Lenders Association as a Certified Reverse Mortgage Professional (CRMP), a designation that requires a demonstrated level of knowledge, experience and professionalism in the specialty of Reverse Mortgages.
