Brett is a Utah-State licensed mortgage loan officer with Advanced Funding Home Mortgage Loans, a Salt Lake area mortgage brokerage since 1994. He has been a mortgage loan originator since 2004, with most of that time at Advanced Funding. He has been specially trained in areas of finance and customer service including advanced mortgage strategies and economics, bookkeeping and tax preparation, and communications training through the University of Wisconsin-Madison and Toastmasters International, holding the Competent Toastmaster (CTM) designation. He has served as the Board Treasurer to a Salt Lake area children's charity, Shelterkids, since 2014. He has owned his own tax preparation and bookkeeping service since 2009, specializing in tax strategies for individuals, real estate investors and small businesses.
