If i move from salary to commission, how will this affect getting approved for a home loan?
Commission, unlike salary, is averaged to get the monthly qualifying income. FHA can allow 12 months average. Most conventional programs average 24 months of commission. Check with your Loan Officer and Lender as there are some exceptions to this.
