how far back can a lender go
Most items are only supposed to stay on a credit report for 7 years. You can have them removed after that time frame. Some items such as bankruptcies can stay on 10 years. Judgements can continue to be refiled and stay on forever. Other than credit reports most lenders only go back 2 to 3 years. ...
