Mortgage Rates 7-31-2013

By Gretchen Wegrich Updated on 7/31/2013

Are mortgage rates going to go up or down tomorrow? The answer is foreshadowed by today's practically nonexistant rate changes, which serve as a warning that rates may shift suddenly following GDP, ADP Employment data and a Fed announcement this week. Experts predict rates could soar back up to the highs reached July 5, or may even fall back down into the low 4s. In general, rates are expected to rise throughout the later half of 2013.
