• Veterans are eligible if served for 90 days during war time or 180 continuous days during peace time
• Current active duty personnel are eligible if served 90 days during war time or 180 continuous days in peace time
• Selected reserves and National Guard are eligible if completed 6 years as a member of an active unit
• The un-remarried spouse of a military member who died while in service is eligible
• Any service member (including reserves) discharged for service connected to disability regardless of time served is eligible
