You would qualify for a VA loan right now. I have access to the lowest rates available on the market. Give me a call and I will let you know exactly what you qualify for, and the terms.

You should be fine to use the VA loan to purchase a home.

These answers are correct. You would be eligible as of now. Be prepared to show your payment history to the Chapter 13 Trustee. Best of luck. Feel free to reach out to me with any other questions.

You can apply now providing you can show at least a 12 month good payment history into the chapter 13.

It would appear that you would qualify now for a VA mortgage loan based on the limited information that you've provided. I would suggest that you contact my office ASAP as you probably also will qualify for a Florida Mortgage Credit Certificate ("MCC") which will provide you with up to a $2000 annual income tax credit on your IRS tax returns. We are a Fort Lauderdale based VA Mortgage Lender and have been approved by the State of Florida to provide the MCC to qualified Borrowers.

with VA it's 1 to 2 years.. so if it's been 3, your good to go.. VA is one of the best loan products out there, so i would definitely advise you to go for it.. but don't use just anyone.. I suggest you contact a LOCAL mortgage broker and apply with them. Once they see your complete loan profile, they will be better equipped to advise you properly. Also, by applying with your LOCAL Broker, you have an advantage because he's familiar with local customs and works with many lenders with each one offering a different type of lending program. This is unlike the local bank which typically only has a few lending programs. The more lenders, the more lending options, and the more likely your scenario will be accepted.. Plus, the broker is experienced in seeking out the best loan terms for your particular scenario, and he has lower overhead which typically results in lower rates and fees than most of the larger lenders.. I'm a Broker here in Scottsdale AZ and I only lend in Arizona. If you or someone you know is looking for financing options, feel free to contact me or pass along my information. William J. As long as you paid your BK 13 on time for the last 12 months you should be good to go , as long as you qualify with your remaining credit, income, job and assets. Best wishes, Sean
