You will need to wait the full two years from the discharge of the Bankruptcy, and maybe even three in some cases. Lender do not waver from this, and to be approved two years after the discharge you will have to use an FHA Mortgage. There is verbiage in the guidelines that talks of bankruptcy caused by catastrophic instances be considered for approval in as little as a year after discharge, but I have not seen that guideline followed. Count on at least two years from discharge, and you cannot apply until after the discharge date.
It's going to happen, but not as fast as you'd like. Most lenders are going to require you to wait until the first day following two full years to apply. Not me. I have closed many loans on the first day following the two year waiting period. Give me a call. I'll get you pre-approved so you can begin shopping now. If you assume it will take 30-45 days to close escrow, you are only 45-60 days away from being able to enter into that contract. That time will fly by. Give me a call or complete the quick application at http://www.loansa2z.com/QuickApplication.php and I'll get you pre-approved so you can close as soon as possible. Sorry to say, you need to complete 2 years from your BK to be able to apply if you are qualified. To find out if you are qualified please contact me directly at www HOMEMORTGAGEXPERT.com or 855 411 LEND thank you Peter Savino
Zero.... You can talk to a lender... Maybe even start looking at home... Heck, maybe even make an offer... But you will NOT be able to close on any loan prior to the full two year period.
It depends, programs are available for people in your situation, however, they require large down payments and have less than favorable terms.
You will have to wait the full two years - but in the next three months you could be getting other things in order. Since the BK have you worked to get your credit score up. You will need at least 620 - and the higher you are the better rates and terms you will get. Also, do you have mney saved for the downpayment. Call a Lender 411 mortgage professional in your area.to help you get your financial ducks in a row so you are ready when you hit the 2 year mark. Good Luck.
I'm afraid your chances are Zero. :(
No chance but NOW is the time to start working on getting your credit score higher. Get with a lender411 loan officer to discuss your situation.
Not good need to wait the full 2 years and don't sign app, disclosures or contract of sale prior to full 2 years.
