Any advice on how to raise a credit score?

What are the most effective ways to raise a credit score? I am struggling to find a loan at a 600 credit score. by JJ39Js from Los Angeles, California. Nov 24th 2010 Reply

Raising a credit score is all scientific. Make sure your revolving accounts are no more than 30% of your high credit, remove recent inquiries from your report and ensure that factual information is reflected on your report. Email me if you would like me to take a look at your report.

There are several different ways of raising a credit score. As Addenie answered below, one way would be to pay all the debts down to a 30% debt to limit ratio. Another way would be do what is called a credit analyzation and see which debt would need to be paid off if any to be able to increase the mid score, which is the FICO score that lenders base underwriting guidelines on. Depending on the situation there are many ways in which the credit score can be raised, however one will not know unless the credit report is analyzed as to see why, the score is where it is. Sometimes Credit scores are rather low not as a result of debts or lates on the report, but rather as a result of non-established credit as well. Feel free to call or email us for more information 877-834-3340 and we will be glad to provide you with more information and help you build your credit up to meet underwriting guidelines.

There are several options; check out my FREE Online Credit Optimization Workshop http://www.budurl.com/betterscoreP.S. I have one lender that will loan at a 600 score...providing that you have a 12 month rental history and debt to credit ratio is normal.

A 600 credit score is well within the VA/FHA guidelines for consideration for a loan. You may just need to be directed to a lender that can handle your credit profile. I can connect you with a lender in your area if you would like, contact me at: cfiedler@guildmortgage.netThanks!

We still have a few lenders that will go down to a 580 credit score on a FHA Loan, but there not cheap. ... If you wish to contact me I will enroll you at no charge in a program that will help you increase you score so you can receive better rates.Happy funding, Rudi
